Lizzy and Christianne perform for audiences large and small, managing music with deftness and ease. Both are graduates of the School of Young Canadians, well versed in the singing and dancing that lends sparkle to the Calgary Stampede’s Grandstand Show. Their vocal and instrumental skills add similar shine to any gathering.
Christianne Morrison
PIANO & VOCALS
Christianne Morrison is a pianist, mezzo-soprano and dancer who delights in enhancing events with the gift of music. Her journey as a pianist began at age six, and she now teaches vocal lessons. With a strong passion for music and performing arts,
Christianne continues to build her repertoire as she studies business and psychology at Huron College at the University of Western Ontario.
Elizabeth Munson
CELLO & VOCALS
Lizzy Munson is a soprano singer and dancer who has studied classical cello since the age of six. Her career highlights include being named as the Calgary Stampede’s 2016 Talent Search Winner, and as a runner up for her musical theatre performance in 2014. She played background cello for Shawn Mendes during the 2016 Juno Awards and for Michael Bublé on the Edmonton and Calgary stops of his 2014 tour.
Lizzy attended MRU Conservatory’s Academy Program for nine years, studying advanced cello, chamber and orchestral music. She also sang and danced with the Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede for six years. Currently, Lizzy teaches vocal and cello, performing with local artists when she is not in the classroom. She is working towards her music and songwriting certificate through Berklee College of Music.
